The Programme for the Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is run every second (and occasionally every third) year)  -  depending on the number of young people wishing to be prepared for this very special Sacrament.

Using 'the life approach' and 'God's message', Fr Gerry and the Catechists help prepare the young people for a period of 3 months.  During each session, the programme helps the young people to talk about their life experiences and things that happen in their daily lives;  to listen to Scripture and get help to understand it; and to get a message for their lives, and are  able to live according to what God has said.

Early on in the Programme, the Candidates attend an 'Away-Day' to help build closer friendships and to aid the benefits of working together as teams and in groups.
