Transport
Wandsworth is extraordinarily well connected with transport links for travel both within the borough and to the city and beyond.
Heathrow Airport can be reached by car in 45 minutes and Gatwick in 30 minutes by rail. From the middle of Wandsworth the M25 and M3 can be reached in 30 minutes and the M4 in 25 minutes.
Waterloo International Station is only 10 minutes away by train including the Eurostar terminal with connections to mainland Europe.
St Thomas a Becket Church is located on the corner of Santos Road and West Hill which is only a few hundred metres away from the A3.
East Putney Tube Station is located on the Upper Richmond Road, approximately 10 minutes walk from the Church.
The nearest overland train station is Wandsworth Town which is approximately a 15 minute uphill walk to the Church. Alternatively, you can travel to Putney Mainland Station. Upon exiting, turn left into Putney High Street, then first left into Upper Richmond Road and catch bus numbers 337 or 37, disembarking at West Hill Library.
Bus numbers 337, 37 and 170 also service the area from Clapham Junction. Disembark at West Hill Library, cross over the road at the pedestrian crossing. The Church is a visible landmark on West Hill and cannot be missed.
